BinEdit v2.0
(Window Preferences)

Open models in active window - BinEdit v2.0 has a Multi-Document Interface (MDI). This means you can have more than one model open at a time. Leaving this option "unchecked" means every model will open into it's own new window. If you "check" this box, new models will open into the currently active window (not a new window), and it will replace the model that was previously open.

Save application window state - Checking this option means that the "BinEdit program" will open the same way it was when closed. That is, either maximized or minimized.

Save child window state - Checking this option means that "model windows" will open the same way they were when closed. That is, maximized or minimized within BinEdit.

Note. If you check "Open models in active window" AND "Save child window state" then maximize the model window, BinEdit v2.0 will look and behave in much the same way as version 1.03 and earlier.
