- Default Attributes
- Default Face Type - Setting this will determine the default face type when adding new faces. It does not effect existing face types nor does it influence group face types.
- View Default Settings
- Background Color - This sets the background color for the model window. It is separate from the View menu setting. The default background color is the permanent default color for all windows. The View menu is a temporary setting for the current window only.
Note. The following effect the view when you open a model.
- Show 3D Axes - View colored x,y,z axes.
- 3D Only View - Turn off front, side and top views.
- 3D Quality - View high quality textures (when texture mapping is on).
- Show 3D Vertices - View vertex markers.
- Show Transparency - View texture transparency.
- Follow Current Face - Center view on currently highlighted face.
- Rendering
- Vertices Only - Show nothing but vertices.
- Wireframe - Show the model in wireframe mode.
- Flat Shading - Show the model without textures.
- Texture Mapping - Show the model with textures.
- Default Angel
This determines the amount of view rotation when you open a model. The following are good defaults, but you can set this to whatever you're comfortable with.
X = 20º
Y = 30º
Z = 0º
